While both her head and body are facing the reader, her eyes are turned slightly to the upper-left corner of the page. She has a neutral expression on her face. Her arms are stretched out toward the edges of the border, with her hands turned upward. A fish on each side of the ornament overlaps one of the figure's arms. The fish on the left is jumping upward to the left, while the one on the right is jumping downward to the left. A triple black-line interlaced ribbon wraps around the figure's waist, extending to roughly the same length as her arms; the inner-most section of the ribbon is filled in with black ink, and gives the appearance of the figure being in water, with the fish jumping in and out of the waves. Her hair is drawn in wavy lines and extends out to either side, not quite reaching the length of her arms nor the water. The innermost sections of her hair are filled with black ink.
