At the centre of the ornament is a human head. The head is angled slightly to the right, with the eyes appearing to look down. Long, wavy hair extends up from the top of the head before curling downwards, ending in a slight spiral at the bottom of the ornament. Sharp double-ruled lines extend from the bottom of the head. These lines go towards either side of the ornament, creating a geometric shape of parallel diagonal lines. There is also a ribbon on either side, interlacing with the pattern and forming a terminal knot.
