The letter is composed of two straight vertical lines that meet at a sixty degree angle at the top. The right line is twice the width of the left; both have flared bases. The stem of the chalice is straight and stands below the horizontal line of the initial letter. it has a three-tiered base and below this there is ornate direction spun in a clockwise pattern and mirrored on both sides.
