A pattern comprised of sharp diagonal lines extends up from the vertical centre of the ornament; from this, more straight lines extend out on an angle, suggestive of stylized branches extending from a central tree trunk. The lines connect at the top, in an irregular tooth pattern. Another geometric pattern comprised of sharp horizontal lines runs across the bottom of the ornament with some sections filled with black ink. Four vertical shapes extend upward from this pattern, culminating in irregular triangular shapes.
