Title

Initial Letter U

Description

Initial letter U is capitalized. The letter is framed within a double-lined square. The letter is white on a black background, the background is studded with white dots. The letter is composed of one thick vertical line on the left, and another thinner line on the right. Both are flared at the top. At the bottom, they are joined together by a curving line. In the centre of the circle is a grotesque human face or gargoyle, facing frontally, with vines coming out of their mouth. There is a symmetrical leaf where the figure’s body would be. There are leaves, flowers, and vines behind the initial letter and spread out throughout the innermost box of the square.
